Welcome
Let me share with you why we exist: We exist to provide families and individual the
opportunity to become homeowners.
We believe that through involvement of a highly specialized staff
and professional affiliates, we can help working class people make the dream of homeownership a
reality.
Home Team Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation certified by Atlantic
City as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). A working relationship exists
between Home Team Inc. and Atlantic City’s Home Investment Partnership
Program.
Home Team should not be mistaken for a laudable nationwide housing
program called habitat for Humanity, which shares the mission of providing
low and middle-income people with home ownership.
Although Home Team Inc. has developed homes throughout Atlantic County;
its primary focus at this time is in Atlantic City. Home Team Inc. also takes pride in
offering social and home retention services before, during and after our
customers have purchased homes.

Mission Statement
Home Team Inc. is a housing and human services agency dedicated to the provision
of home ownership to low and moderate income families in Atlantic
County. Home Team Inc. prepares low and moderate-income renters to
become first time homeowners and provide them with ongoing supportive
services. Home Team Inc.’s activities involve helping new homeowners
with housing, or personal problems that jeopardize their ability to
continue as homeowners.
Tax
deductions are authorized and gifts are appreciated. Since 1996,

INC. has been certified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury as a
501c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
Home Team Inc. is organized to undertake activities that promote independence and
self-sufficiency among individuals and families in Atlantic County, NJ.
Home Team Inc.
is committed to providing decent, affordable housing to low and moderate
income persons, and improving home ownership opportunities for low and
moderate income individuals and families in Atlantic County.
Home Team Inc. mission includes, but is not limited to, the provision of high
community standard housing at the most affordable cost for low and
moderate-income citizens of Atlantic County, New Jersey. Home
Team Inc. also provides free bi-semester seminars to educate applicants to
all preparatory facets of home ownership.
